Dear Competitors:

The above entrants are the final winners of stage one of the Atlantic City Boardwalk Holocaust Memorial open design competition. We congratulate them on creating amazing projects and thank all of the competitors who submitted entries. They did an outstanding effort and each one that was received was impressive. Thank you for helping us run a successful international competition.

Since the scoring was so close, all "honorable mentions" were included in the top 13 finalists and are eligible to continue to stage two. Their designs will be posted on this website in August, after stage two submissions are received.

The vast majority of the 715 stage one entries will be beautifully reproduced in a catalogue entitled "Memorializing the Holocaust" with credit and contact information included. Every entry will be available on a DVD which will be included with the catalogue. Books may be ordered now at a special pre-publication rate by $60.00 USD mailed to ACBHM Catalgoue Dept., 1601 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Or order via email to competition@acbhm.org and wire transfer the price of the catalogue. Requests outside North America must include additional $13.00 USD for shipping.

Again we wish to express our appreciation to each and every entrant for sharing their vision with us.
